Project Overview

This front garden transformation in Little Kingshill was carried out over six weeks, during which our team at Mammoth Landscaping completely redesigned the property’s entrance. The existing driveway and front garden had become dated and no longer suited the home.

The project included a new gravel driveway, reinforced concrete base for a carport, retaining walls, porcelain paving and soft landscaping.

Although the original plan was to repair the retaining wall, our team recommended replacing it with a new structure featuring wider entrance steps and Marshalls Drystack walling. This created a much more impressive entrance while tying the driveway and front garden together.

Gravel Driveway

The new gravel driveway was installed using Dove Grey gravel with Marshalls Tegula Charcoal block paving borders. Our team also installed an entrance apron to give the driveway a defined finish.

As part of the wider renovation, we also constructed a reinforced concrete base ready for the client’s new carport. Behind the retaining walls, improved drainage was installed to ensure the new structures remain protected and perform well for years to come.

Porcelain Paving & Turfing

To complement the driveway, we installed Marshalls Symphony Elements Metallic Grey porcelain paving to create attractive pathways and a welcoming front entrance.

The front lawn was re-turfed using premium Regal turf and new planting beds were created to soften the hard landscaping.

The combination of gravel, porcelain paving, natural stone walling and fresh planting provides a modern yet timeless appearance while keeping future maintenance to a minimum.
