What Is The Best Time Of Year For Landscaping?

Technically, you can landscape at any time of the year (except in the frozen depths of winter when the land is solid), but some times are better than others. In this post, we take a look at when most people prefer to do their landscaping.

Most People Prefer To Landscape In The Autumn
If you love spending time outside in the garden in the spring and summer, then the best time to get landscaping done is probably autumn. This way, you can get it ready for the next season and enjoy it once March and April arrive the following year.

Landscaping in the autumn is easier than in the summer or winter for a couple of reasons. First, the weather is milder for workers, helping them get more done. And secondly, the soil tends to be significantly softer. Heavier rainfall in the latter months of the year makes it easier to work.

April And May Are Popular, Too
If your landscaping involves planting a lot of shrubs and trees, then you might want to do your landscaping in April and May. These spring months are great for perennials and give them time to acclimatise before the fall.

With that said, expert landscapers can work at any time of the year. They have a bag of tricks they can use to ensure excellent results.
